Before anything else
There is no address to write to. This product has no operating entity, no support mailbox
and no abuse intake yet, so nothing on this page can currently be acted on. We are saying so on the page
rather than printing an address that goes nowhere — an intake channel that does not exist is worse than an
admitted gap, because it looks like one.
This page exists so that the intake design is settled before the first real complaint arrives, and so
the entity decision has something concrete attached to it.
Who should use this
- Your face, voice or likeness appears in a result and you did not permit it.
- Your character, artwork, photograph or other copyrighted material was used as input without
permission.
- You believe a result is being used to impersonate, defraud or harass someone.
- A child's image or voice is involved — use this route regardless of anything else on the page.
What a usable report contains
- Which item — the link or job reference, and where you saw it.
- What it is of yours. You do not need to prove it at this stage; describe it specifically enough that a
person who is not you can tell we are talking about the same thing.
- Which of the four grounds above it falls under.
- Where we may reach you.
- For copyright: a signature of the owner or a person authorised to act for them.
We will not ask you to identify yourself beyond what the claim requires, and we will not ask a person
reporting their own face to upload an ID before we take the report down.
What happens next, once there is someone to act
- The item stops being served while the report is open. Taking it down is reversible; leaving it up is
not.
- We look at the consent record attached to the upload — which account supplied the material, which
version of the consent notice it accepted, and when.
- If the record does not answer the claim, the material is deleted and the account is restricted. If it
does, we say so and tell you what it says.
- The uploader may send a counter-notice. We pass along what is needed to identify the material and no
more of your details than that requires.
Response times are not committed anywhere on this page, because committing to one requires
someone to be on the receiving end of it. That is part of the entity decision.
What this page is not
It is not a legal notice service, and it is not a channel for disputes about whether a result is good.
It exists because a tool that lets people generate faces and voices has to have one, and because the
alternative — building the intake after the first complaint — is how records end up incomplete.
