That every face, voice and recognizable character you put into this tool is yours, or belongs to someone who has agreed to you using it. Not "I think it's fine" — you are stating that you have permission, and we keep the statement.
Clone another person's voice. This is not us being cautious; it is not available to buy. The main voice provider states it in their own terms:
ElevenLabs:we only allow you to clone your own voiceand
Even with their consent, you cannot clone someone else's voice. The only route they offer is that the other person creates their own account and shares a link with you.
So we will not build the feature, and if a competitor offers it, that is not evidence that this one should.
Make a real person who did not agree. No celebrities, no politicians, no ex-partners, no boss, no one from a photo you found.
HeyGen prohibits representingreal individuals, including celebrities or public figures, without their explicit consent. Akool prohibits anything that
misrepresents, impersonates, or harms individuals, celebrities, or brands.
For each upload: the account, the version of this notice accepted, the timestamp. Kept from the first day, because it cannot be reconstructed afterwards.
That record is a statement you made. It is not a clearance, and we do not check it. Some upstream avatar products keep no consent record at all for photo-based avatars, so the checkmark here cannot be inherited from them either.
HeyGen, on its own photo avatar flow:HeyGen runs no consent check and keeps no consent record. D-ID pushes the obligation to the operator:
you bear all risk… responsible for obtaining all necessary consents. Akool:
you shall be solely responsible for determining whether a release is required.
If a result on this site uses your face, voice or likeness without your permission, tell us here. That page currently has no working address on it, which is disclosed there rather than hidden.
